SAP Business Objects over Microsoft DirectAccess

What are we trying to achieve:

• Our company has switched from using a VPN tunneling to the corporate network to using Microsoft DirectAccess.

• From within the corporate network (office building) all applications run fine. From home it is failing.

• From home I am trying to connect via DirectAccess to the web service of our SAP business Objects system. The web service is located here (default): https://DNS/dswsbobje/services/Session

• While connecting to the BO webservice from home (for instance with logging in from Design Studio), the Microsoft DirectAccess application provides me with an IPv6 address. but we see that the "Authentication" drop down stays greyed out. (Screenshot)

Observations while using wireshark:

• We see [TCP Retransmissions] on the servers IPv4 address. The question is: where is the ipv4 address coming from?
Is it hardcoded somewhere in the BO configuration?

Of course setting up a connecting from the internet using ipv4 will not work.

Generic question: does anybody have experience with SAP Business Objects running over DirectAccess?

Do we need to configure something?
