Index step in process chains in SAP BW on HANA

Hi All,

Recently we have migrated our database from oracle to HANA for SAP BI, Architecture is still LSA. But it will change to LSA++ in coming 2-3 months.

My question is :

1) Do we need to remove the index steps in process chains before LSA++ Architecture will tech place.

a) If yes what will be the advantages what issues we may face ?

b) If not what will be the value of these steps?
